Welcome to Intercultural Life

Supporting Global Families

What is Intercultural Life?

In our ever-changing world, global families face constant adaptation without direct support. Intercultural Life is dedicated to empowering global families to become their best selves in any situation. Our approach also benefits associated stakeholders, including employers and institutions, as global families reach their full potential.

How can Intercultural Life support you?

Intercultural Life is a transformative concept that reshapes your thoughts and experiences. Just as a lens brings clarity to a blurred image, it directs your attention to unseen aspects and highlights those that require emphasis. By adopting a fresh perspective, you can enhance your effectiveness and unlock greater potential, both as an individual and as a family unit.

Intercultural Life provides various programs and workshops designed for individuals and global families. Additionally, we offer specialized programs for companies and institutions seeking to support their global family employees.

When can Intercultural Life be of assistance?

1. Change management in global family settings

When a global family encounters any changes in circumstances, such as a new family situation, transitioning to a new country of living, new school or a new job, it involves an acculturation and / or adaptation process.

Effective change management is crucial in various circumstances, including identity redefinition and the integration of new habits or roles for individuals and families.

2. Career/Dual career identification

If you are considering a career change or a new position, career identification becomes particularly valuable. However, for individuals who are part of a global family, career decisions carry additional weight, as they profoundly impact the family unit.

Such decisions are no longer made solely at an individual level but within the context of the entire family.

Can you be identified as a member of a global family?

This question frequently arises among clients engaged with Intercultural Life. If you answer "YES" to any of the following inquiries, then indeed, you are a member of a global family:

*Have your family members been born in two or more different countries?
* Has your family changed its country of residence at least once?
* Is your family planning to relocate to a different country?
* Are your family ties connected to two or more different countries?

Testimonials

I have collaborated with Judit on research projects. We were rather thrown in together having never met before, but in no time I realised we were 'on the same page' despite having quite different backgrounds and living continents apart. Judit cares about her work and to me, that is what really matters.
